About this listing

Seatrails offer specialist, guided activity tours with a focus on heritage sites, local history and the environment. The guided walks are located within and close to the coast of Sligo in areas of scenic natural beauty and on deserted islands. Most of the areas we cover on our walks are discovery points of the Wild Atlantic Way such as Strandhill, Rosses Point, Streedagh Strand and Mullaghmore. We also guide in unique landscapes that are steeped in heritage such as Carrowkeel, Carrowmore where there are ancient megalithic tombs and Lough Gill which inspired William Butler Yeats. If you would like to try horse riding by the sea on golden beaches by pretty islands, we have a refreshing guided ‘heritage on horseback trail’ where you trot or canter along a beautiful beach where Spanish Armada ships were blown ashore over four hundred years ago. Seatrails also offer a guided boat trip and heritage experience to a deserted island which houses an ancient monastery.Seatrails are passionate and expert in what they do. Seatrails does not show you what everyone else does but instead go off the beaten track and show you the true gems of Sligo. www.seatrails.ie
