There are three, colour coded routes in Carrigbyrne Hill Woods of varying lengths. All routes start near the entrance of the forest and follow various paths; look out for the colour coded directional signs along the way. Carrigbyrne Hill forest is ideal for walking; set in a historic area the beautiful walks around the hill offer peace, tranquillity as well as breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside.Slí na Sláinte stands for \'path to health\'. Developed by the Irish Heart Foundation, it\'s the outgoing way to make walking for leisure and good health even more enjoyable. Marked by bright colourful signposts which are not numbered and are situated at 1 km intervals, you\'ll find Slí na Sláinte walk routes all over Ireland. Simply follow the Km signs, set your pace to suit your enjoyment and you\'ll quickly feel better and get fitter.
